**Job description**

A committed Personal Assistant (PA) is required to join an amazing team supporting a disabled 54 year old male who lives in his own home, based in Runcorn.

Working hours are 15 hours per week, with core hours as;
- 9am - 1pm & 9am - 2pm (depending on daily needs)
- Shifts will generally be 5 hours per day (3 days a week).
- Working days include occasional weekends.

Flexibility is needed to work additional hours, as needed, to cover sickness, annual leave and social hours. There are no evening calls.

This role includes duties such as; dressing/getting up, care specific to his spinal cord injury, administration of medicines, support outside and in the home, household tasks (laundry, tidying, cleaning), and support for social events.

Applicants must be a car driver with full, clean license and willing to drive the client’s adapted Van when required. Client will ensure full insurance cover is provided.

Previous experience in care is preferred but not essential - on the job training can be given.
