Senior Infrastructure Engineer - 6 Months Initial - Leicester (Hybrid) - Outside IR35
A global e-commerce organisation requires a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support their extensive retail estate.

The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will work with a variety of on-premise technologies, get involved with estate-wide deployment of in-house developed retail software, provide 3rd line infrastructure support, and deliver IT and business drivenprojects.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Operational activities include proactive system monitoring, incident management and resolution, change/problem/request management, disaster recovery, capacity management and software deployments.
- Development activities include delivery of new infrastructure platforms and solutions that meet business and security requirements.
- You will use a combination of physical, virtualised and cloud platforms to design, build and deploy infrastructure and supporting systems

**Essential Criteria**
- Experienced Senior Infrastrcutre Engineer
- Experience of supporting a multi-site enterprise IT environment and providing 3rd line support of servers, workstations, and peripherals.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining a Windows Server (Wintel) infrastructure.
- This includes Active Directory, Site Topologies, DNS and DHCP.
- Extensive experience with SCCM - Server side (Patching / Remediation / Deployment)
- CISCO Meraki cldou deployment
- Mobile Devince Management (MDM0
- Windows Failover Clustering experience.
- PowerShell scripting knowledge and scripted automation experience.
- Internet Information Services (IIS).
- SQL Server 2012 onwards
- Experience of developing and supporting Microsoft Hyper-V clusters.
- Experience of IT change management and configuration management processes.

**This role requires you to be on site one day per week, in Leicester.**

**Role details**:

- Duration: 6 months with view of extension
- IR35 status: Outside IR35 - You will also be expected to complete a QDOS assessment
- Location: emote with 1 day per week on-site (Leicester)
