**Delivery Driver, Kinning Park Branch, Electrical Network**

**Overview**

Electrical Network is a key electrical wholesaler business providing electrical products across West Scotland. Specialist in providing products and services to the electrical industry with over 20 years’ experience in the sector with branches covering Glasgow, Paisley, Kinning Park and Kilmarnock.

A new opportunity has arisen for a delivery driver at the Kinning Park Branch. Delivering within the central belt of Scotland to existing customer base, deliveries both to construction sites and customers premises.

The right person will be an experienced delivery driver capable of driving up to one of our 3.5 tonne vehicles including long wheelbase vehicles and doing so in a safe and responsible manner, on average 8 - 10 deliveries per day. Our drivers require to be flexible with start and finish times including covering a 1 in 4 Saturday rota (9am-12pm)

**Job Responsibilities & Duties**
- Checking your vehicle daily with the assistance of our vehicle check list to ensure vehicle is roadworthy and in full working order.
- Following the delivery route and format laid out by the branch.
- Dealing with customers face to face and in a professional and courteous manner.
- Driving Electrical Network branded vehicles and doing so in a safe and responsible manner
- Good timekeeping and attendance record essential.
- A requirement for the occasional early start.

**Skills & Experience**
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Committed and determined individual who can work well with the team.
- The ability to solve problems and use initiative.
- Courteous and aware on the roads
- Minimum of 5 years commercial driving experience

**Requirements**:
Self-motivated, presentable, confident, and courteous individual who takes pride in their work.

Full Clean Driving Licence

This is a great opportunity paying £23,400 (Monday to Friday included in a 1 in 4 Saturday rota ( 9am-12pm )
