Morrison Telecom are currently looking to recruit a Flex Supervisor for our Fibre Build project with our Client Openreach. You will be based out of Blantyre and Site Based within the region. You will be working into the Delivery Manager. Your role will be to ensure we get the best out of Direct Labour resources on site on a day-to-day basis. Making sure safe systems of work are always followed and carrying out quality audits on jobs alongside LMTP through to commissioning.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing and coaching of Direct Labour Gangs
- Working alongside Direct Labour Teams and Civils Supervisors ensuring all civils for associated PON’s are completed for the following weeks hopper build as directed by Project Delivery Manager, to ensure we have no glitches on the following weeks delivery or flagging any issues that could prevent delivery.
- Dealing with customer complaints on site if field teams are having access issues.
- Working in conjunction FTTP Coordinator to ensure all estimates have suitable start dates and all works have been completed for PON’s (Desilting/TM/Tree Cutting/Poling) all enabling works are complete to speed up the following weeks build.
- Provide direction and governance through the Direct Labour to deliver improvements in line with any agreed Streetworks, quality or safety improvement plans.
- Regular spot checks / audits on Direct Labour gangs ensure works are being carried out safely to Health and Safety guidelines. Ensure this is being followed daily and keep forcing the agenda to drive continuity and competency.
- Ensuring all teams are fully accredited and competent for the tasks they are carrying out.
- Identify areas for improvement and providing feedback to the management team.
- Responsible for successful delivery of all works within the region and are done in a Safe, Quality and in a timely manner.
- Supporting the delivery of the business units KPI’s, identifying area for improvements to the Project Delivery Manager against the key measures to continually improve performance.
- Support Direct Labour achieve key objectives and goals implemented by management.
- Finding solutions / reroutes when issues arise on site that need to be fixed, whilst finding the safest, cheapest and operational solution for all parties in the build.
- Working with the client FBC’s to achieve successful delivery and any issues to help resolve in a timely manner that maintains continuity throughout the build.
- Sponsor and support new ways of working which would improve delivery and service then support any activities being undertaken to implement change.
- Working collaboratively & in line with MTS & OR policies
- Ensure Direct Labour are using App’s such as Risk Assessments / In progress / Quality Audits to ensure all checks are being undertaken.
- Ability to provide management to field-based teams working remotely
- Auditing operational gangs.
- Dealing with any quality issues in a timely fashion and supply the client with dates for them to be resolved.

**Essentials**
- Experience of managing operational teams on the Openreach network essential
- Telecoms experience required.
- MT003/SA001/SA002/NRSWA/M23 Supervisor - Training can be provided for any further modules
- Competent on GEOHUB
- Good Microsoft Excel & Office experience required
- Ability to understand and implement agreed plans which support the needs of the business and support operational effectiveness.
- The ability to work collaboratively with Stakeholders both within the client spectrum and suppliers.
- Ability to follow and a process driven environment.
- Experience of Civils & Cabling (both UG and OH) would be beneficial.
- A basic understanding of both financial and commercial activities and dependencies.
- Ability to understand and implement agreed plans which support the needs of the business and support operational effectiveness.
- The ability to work collaboratively with Stakeholders both within the client arena and the supply chain.
- An ability to understand and operate within a process driven environment.
