**UX Researcher **(Full time)

GenGame Ltd, part of Chameleon Technology group, make innovative apps and products for the energy industry that help consumers better manage their energy consumption. Our product lines range from apps and devices that work with smart meters, electric vehicles, and much more.

Working in a small team alongside designers, developers and engineers, you’ll plan and conduct research to understand our users to help functional and appealing features that address our users’ and customers’ needs throughout all phases of the project timeline.

**Responsibilities**
- Define research requirements based on business and product objectives and market opportunities
- Carry out moderated and unmoderated usability testing of our product range.
- Lead design user research strategies using both quantitative and qualitive methods.
- Analyse research to define key insights.
- Present research findings to stakeholders and project partners.
- Plan research timelines to meet project requirements.
- Plan and define recruitment criteria & methods.
- Create affinity maps, personas and participant boards.
- Market research and competitive analysis.
- Work with UX & UI designers to understand and implement research-based actions and recommendations.

**Requirements**:

- Portfolio of related projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow you to clearly communicate ideas in cross
- team collaboration.
- Well organised and a strong eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt to working to different design constraints.
- Lead and manage UX research activities from designing and planning to field work.
- Working knowledge of Adobe XD and Figma would be of benefit.
- Familiarity with prototyping software such as Flinto.
- Familiarity with remote usability testing software.
- Happy taking guidance and constructive feedback and being keen to learn.

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant research or design related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.

**Salary**: £31,997.53-£71,468.92 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Leicester
