Accounts Payable Supervisor

REED Accountancy are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic accounts payable supervisor to join their established client, to lead a team of 3 in Evesham.
The role is full time and permanent, with study support offered if required. The role offers 3 days WFH and flexible working outside of core hours.
This role could also suit a management accountant who is looking to lead a small team to drive success.

Main Duties
- Provide support, guidance and overseeing of the team on a daily basis
- Encourage ownership and accountability within the team
- Organise and prioritise the teams workload as required
- Be accountable for Aged Creditor balances
- Identify and provide training of the team in all aspects of Document Capture Software
- Maintain, oversee and develop the Document Capture resource tool
- Prepare and check payments
- Review and update procedure guides
- Identify and highlight areas of concern with the team or process, to the manager
- Meet regularly and work closely with the manager to ensure smooth running of the team and department
- To provide cover for the Manager and European Controller during holiday/ absence

- Good communication skills, personable and approachable team player
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A hands on approach to ensure deadlines are meet
- Advanced level of excel
