**The role**

We’re now looking for an experienced, bright and motivate Trainee Account Handler, working a Commercial book of business to join us here at Jensten Motor Trade, which is part of the Jensten Group.

Reporting to the Director and working within a supportive team, you will be based at our Bexleyheath office on a hybrid basis (following successful completion of the training period).

**Key objectives & responsibilities will include**:

- Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business.
- To assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling, up-selling and similar opportunities. Utilise all leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
- Achieve or exceed agreed income retention and policy count set targets
- To understand client’s business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
- To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA

**About you**

As one of our Account Handlers, you’ll have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail. You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. You will also be or have:

- Ideally a background within Insurance although other industry experience will be considered
- Great customer service skills
- A good level of organisation and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance
- Able to use initiative and multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin
