Warehouse & Packing Assistants

To assist in the warehouse and packing operations of a growing online retail company, selling over 5000+ military and outdoor products in the UK and Worldwide.

Summary of Main Responsibilities:

- Order preparation, stock picking and packing
- Dispatch of customer orders via post or courier
- Stock-in, assist with the delivery, checking and stock-in of goods delivered
- Assist in the stock control of the companies products
- Ensure the companies stock control systems are up to date
- Work as part of a team
- Some additional tasks when required

You will need to ensure orders are picked accurately, and packed tidily with the correct postal and customs information present. Orders must be dispatched by the appropriate postal or courier method.

You will help with the stock in processes ensuring deliveries are correct, checked in and the stock located correctly in the warehouse. You will help with resolving stock quality issues, and other warehouse and premises problems.

There will be some weekend and evening overtime during busy periods (Christmas) and stock-takes, you will be expected to contribute to support during these shifts.

We attend 5-6 trade shows per year. Everyone is expected to attend 1-2 trade shows per year as part of their role. Trade shows give you an opportunity to get out of the warehouse for a few days, and see our products in action

On the job training will be provided.

Hours: 35 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Knowledge and Experience:

- Ability to use a computer
- Must be physically fit and willing to engage in physical work when required
- Desirable requirements but not essential would include on-line retail or retail experience, experience of picking and packing operations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
