A leading manufacturer & service provider in Didsbury is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager in a key 5 to 6 month temporary assignment. You’ll be working for an established international business working within ateam of 6. (Salary: circa £25,000)

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the Finance Manager with the transactional side of bookkeeping
- Handing the purchase ledger queries in a timely & efficient manner
- Assisting with the month-end close process
- Late invoice accruals & various cost accruals
- Employee expenses
- Payment runs
- Responsible for the completion of your daily workload

**Essential skills**
- Proven experience of working in a bookkeeping role assisting a small finance team
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work to timescales

**Desirable skills**
- Word/Excel
