A full-time 36 month fixed term contract, working with the Higher Education sector as a Campaign Finance Manager, for a Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA studier or QBE Accountant offering between £33,000- £40,000 per annum.

**Description**

The key responsibilities for the Campaign Finance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;
- Contribute to the development of Campaign targets at each stage of Campaign planning and delivery. Responsible for counting and reporting of income to those Campaign targets, including developing and agreeing criteria, processes and systems for countingwithin each income stream;
- Responsible for effective gift management and accounting processes that underpin fundraising and the Campaign. Working across Finance, DDAR and other colleagues to support good donor experience, fundraiser effectiveness and meet governance requirements.
- Ensure robust processes are in place for reconciliation of philanthropic income, including ensuring that all donor funding is being administered and distributed correctly and in accordance with Gift Agreements.
- Develop (in conjunction with colleagues) reports, statistics and analysis to monitor philanthropic/campaign income. Responsible for the accurate, consistent and transparent reporting of philanthropic/campaign income across all DDAR reports.
- Work with fundraisers and colleagues across the University to provide project costs for transformational gift proposals and expenditure figures to monitor impact and reporting back to donors. Present financial material in an accessible way, appropriateto the audience.
- Ensure that all relevant information relating to philanthropic income is recorded in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for storage, retrieval, use and appropriate destruction of such data in line with GDPR requirements.
- Manage and support the development of the Gift and Finance Officer. Prioritise and schedule finance work, ensuring the quality, timely and successful completion of tasks.
- Undertake other such duties as may be required from time to time as directed by the Deputy Director, Development Services.
**Profile**
- Significant proven experience in the field of (preferably) fundraising/donation accounting, or similar financial administration role.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate, interrogate and manage large volumes of raw data from a wide variety of sources and develop appropriate information.
- Proven experience and ability to develop and implement complex processes across multiple stakeholders, including demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Practical knowledge of database management and ability to manage financial records.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and explain complex issues to a range of audiences with varying levels of understanding.
- Project management skills and experience and effective workload management.
- Working towards a recognised qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience within a fundraising environment.
- Line management/supervisory experience.

**Job Offer**
- A 36 fixed term contract, offering full time hours and hybrid working;
- Between £33,000 and £40,000 per annum.
