We are recruiting Support Workers in Manchester.

We're recruiting for an ad hoc Support Worker. It's secure work that comes with good pay, great training and previous experience is preferred. Waking day rate is £10.42 per hour and sleeping night pay rate is £8.72 per hour.

**You'll be providing care and support to our adult service user who's individual needs include**:

- Personal care
- Assistance to dress
- Assistance with medication
- Full meal preparation and shopping

**You will also be required to**:

- Keep financial records
- All domestic duties as required throughout the shift
- Keeping a daily record of tasks undertaken and close liaison with team leader/ branch office of any concerns
- Service user attends daily activity groups to which the successful applicant will accompany the service user
- Take our service user out into the community and plan suitable and safe places for them to visit
- Service user is a vulnerable adult and applicant will be involved with adhering to health and safety requirements at all times

**Working Hours**

Our service user is supported 24/7 and as such, shifts will in time cover a 7 day period. Individual shifts can be up to 48 hours in duration, which may be extended during periods of holiday cover and/or staff illness. Shifts would be offered as one shift per month in the first instance as the service user becomes more familiar with the successful applicant.

**Important details**
- Waking day pay rate is £10.42 per hour and sleeping night pay rate is £8.72 per hour
- You must be comfortable providing Personal Care
- You should be 18+ and have the right to work in the UK
- You'll need a full UK driving licence with use of a car
- Previous experience is preferred and an ability to swim is an advantage
- To get you started you'll receive uniforms, a DBS/PVG check, a mobile phone, comprehensive training and shadowing shifts.

- You may be required to carry out some delegated healthcare tasks as part of this role, you will undertake additional training led by a registered healthcare professional in these circumstances.
