**Recruitment / HR Assistant**

This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking**Recruitment / HR Assistant** to join one of our favourite clients to work with, STEM Learning in York.

You will be employed an initial **6 - 9-month Fixed Term Contract** to join a pro-active and professional team. We need a dynamic HR professional who is coming from a generalist environment and with a strong recruitment background.

This is a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment and you will be working with the HR team during a period of planned expansion and change. You will be primarily supporting an intensive recruitment period that will include internal secondments, promotions,external recruitment (direct advertising, use of agencies) and TUPE transfer staff.

The role of**Recruitment / HR Assistant**will be varied and will include:

- Supporting the full recruitment, onboarding and induction process to ensure all new staff members add value to the organisation.
- Arranging and attending interviews, booking meeting rooms, funnelling feedback back to interviewees
- Chasing line managers
- Providing a professional and proactive approach to maintain, promote and further develop the HR IT systems (primarily CascadeHR), relevant spreadsheets, reports and documentation.
- Support to HR projects and case management.
- Arranging meetings, taking minutes & supporting the monthly payroll process
- Archiving, producing documentation, disposal of confidential documents

In order to be suitable for this position, you will need to be available immediately, be CIPD Level 3 qualified and/**or have equivalent proven experience**. You will be highly driven, of strong character, able to work autonomously and haveexcellent communication skills and a flexible 'can-do’ attitude to your work.

**Experience of planning and delivering multiple recruitment projects at various lifecycle stages is essential** and a knowledge of TUPE transfer processes will be advantageous. Your proven resilience in a busy HR environment will enable youto support our demand led environment and underpin your ability to carry out the role successfully.

The role is full time (37hrs) and primarily office based although some flexibility for working from home will be considered after your induction (eg; after 3 months. 1 or 2 days/week from home)

**Salary: £25-28K**
