Our Client are a leading electrical engineering business based in Oxfordshire. The company currently require a talented HSEQ Advisor to join the business.

**Purpose of the Role**:

- We seek a talented and focused SHEQ / Health and Safety advisor to join our dynamic team currently delivering installation, maintenance, and product support services for LV and HV assets across the UK.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Driving growth of our UK Energy Services business, through supporting all aspects of Safety, Health, Environment and/ or Quality (SHEQ) within the department.
- Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard and compliance.
- Support teams and individuals with site documentation, SHEQ queries and continual improvement.
- Support the department with H&S documents, procedures, job packs and programmes as required.
- Support the team in managing customer SHEQ communications, tenders, pre and post project documentation.
- Support the departments training requirements through assessment of skills analysis, progression, renewal, and legal requirements.
- Oversee customer and subcontractor SHEQ relationships.
- Attending meetings in Thame, at sites and customer premises when required.
- Carry out site audits, inspections, procedural checks and improve procedures.
- Manage commercial requirements by writing and issuing SHEQ documents, work packs, CDM plans and construction phase plans.
- Support external ISO audits, client audits and ensure legal compliance at all times.
- Supporting out of hours calls as required.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience in delivering efficient and effective services to customers whether on site or at a planning stage from an office environment.
- Proven track record of creating procedures or producing documents for operational work.
- Experience in managing teams and individuals, through all methods of communication.
- Computer literate - skilled in all of MS office, MS Project.
- Full driver's License, travel will be required to support team and individuals.
- Located within Scottish and Southern Electricity Network, Northern or Southern region.
- Good knowledge of SHEQ and its practical implications.
- Training - Project management, Agile, ISO9001, ISO45001, IOSH, NEBOSH.
- Willingness to assist in out of hours calls.
- Knowledge of Electrical engineering, construction planning, site management and logistics.
