**Warehouse Operator**

As a Warehouse Operator at The Turmeric Co, your primary purpose will be assisting the Stock Controller with raw materials receipt, transfer to storage and decanting for production. To conduct the required intake checks and keep records. To assist with loading and off-loading of semi
- and finished products. To maintain a clean and organised work space.

**Key responsibilities**
- Managing and organising bottled stock (semi
- and finished products) within the refrigerated units on site.
- Receive, inspect, and decant incoming raw materials and finished products. Collaborate with the Stock Controller to verify the accuracy and integrity of received goods.
- Assist in labelling and documenting incoming stock accurately.
- Work with the team to complete goods in reports accurately and promptly.
- Unpack and process incoming shipments efficiently.
- Support in the careful handling and storage of products to protect integrity and prevent contamination.
- Collaborate with the Stock Controller to manage inventory levels.
- Supporting with stock control and ensuring stock remains in good condition.
- Clean as you go and maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping at all times.
- Dispatch of semi
- and finished goods.
- Ensuring all raw materials and juices are labelled correctly so they can be identified with product name, batch code and date to allow traceability and first in first out.
- Keeping genuine records to ensure that the juices are food safe, authentic, legal, of the highest quality and meet the agreed specification.

**Experience / Skills**
- An accredited and valid Reach Truck Certificate is required.
- A5 Pedestrian Pallet Stacker Training or Counterbalance is desirable.
- A good standard of both written and spoken English.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Ability to work well in small teams and communicate effectively.
- Proactive approach to working with a can-do attitude.
- Physically fit due to manual handling requirements associated with the role.
- Excellent eye for detail.
- Skilled at following instructions.
- Proactively keen to assume responsibility for tasks to be completed.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
