Roof Slater

Responsibilities: - Install and repair roofs using various materials such as slate, tile, and shingles - Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions - Ensure roofs are properly aligned and leveled - Install flashing and other protective materials to prevent water leakage - Inspect roofs for damage and make necessary repairs - Remove old roofing materials and dispose of them properly - Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Roof Slater or in a similar role - Proficient in using power tools and equipment related to roofing - Knowledge of plumb lines, masonry, and carpentry techniques - Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work at heights Skills: - Proficient in building, fabricating, and welding roofs - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot roof issues - Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members If you have the required experience and skills for this position, we would love to hear from you.
