Multiskilled Maintenance Technician

**Job Title** - Electrical Maintenance Engineer
**Location** - Crick, Northamptonshire
**Salary**- £48,954 basic
**Hours -** 3-shift - weekly rotation of 8-hour Morning (6am-2pm), Back (2pm-10pm) and Night (10pm-6am) shifts
**Benefits** - Night shift allowance, bonus paid for every 4 weeks of 100% attendance (not including annual leave), 25 days of holiday entitlement (plus Bank Holidays)

Our client is one of the country’s leading suppliers in quality pet food products. They provide bespoke and forward-thinking feed solutions in a range of different flavours and combinations, and offer both traditional cans and more modern pouch varieties.
The entire production process happens on this site, and the maintenance teams are generally split between the canning and pouch operations.
**Role Overview**
The Multiskilled Maintenance Technician will also be proficient in both electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance, and should be comfortable fault-finding with a Multimeter and reading electrical drawings. The plant is almost constantly operational,and issues can arise on the line which could lead to prolonged shutdowns. It is the responsibility of the operative to ensure that production keeps running, and to also adhere to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition/HNC/HND/NVQ Level 3/other recognised electrical/mechanical trade qualification is essential
- Knowledge of working with Siemans S7 or S5 / Allen Bradley PLCs to a programming level is essential
- Must be able to fault-find with a Multimeter and read electrical drawings
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG, food-based environments is preferable
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene/Food Safety legislation is essential
