Nursery Cook

At the Academy Nursery we are looking for a nursery cook, someone who has experience in catering, preferably with a food hygiene / catering qualification. Some one who is organised with good communication skills both written and verbal and who can work well individually and as part of a team.

**Main Duties Include**

You will be responsible for cooking healthy meals for the children in nursery and developing menus in line with our healthy eating policy. You will manage the nursery kitchen, organising, preparing and delivering nursery meals in accordance with the nursery menus, food policies and procedures, ensuring that all individual dietary requirements are catered for in line with parental guidance and individual children's care plans. You will ensure that the highest standards of health and safety, hygiene and cleanliness are met in accordance with environmental health and the food standards agency legislation. You will also be responsible for daily record keeping, and managing a weekly budget.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £14,000.00-£18,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Catering: 2 years (preferred)
