Deli Assistant

**FULL & PART TIME DELI POSITIONS OPEN**

FOR HARDWORKING AND RELIABLE PERSONS WHO WORK WELL WITHIN A TEAM.

**Experience not necessary - Full training provided**

**Role Requirements**:

- Deli opening and closing
- Some cooking duties and service of food from our deli food bar
- Complete required daily paperwork
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation
- Implement all company promotional initiatives
- Ensure a quality buying experience for all customers
- Safely operate a deep fryer, sharp knives and other culinary tools as needed
- Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers
- Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork
- Other duties assigned by Deli/Store Manger
- Ability to work unsupervised

**Not necessary, but an Advantage if**:

- Flexibility to work from 05:30am week days
- Previous experience of working in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- HACCP experience
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

**Salary**: £6.56-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- food preparation & handling: 1 year (preferred)
