CSR are currently recruiting for our specialist Fit Out client based in Lisburn for a Trainee SHEQ Officer. We are looking for an ambitious, committed individual who has a genuine interest in starting a career within the Health & Safety sector in Construction. The successful individual will already have some exposure to Health & Safety, either in their current role, be a Graduate or Apprentice recently qualified, or if you are a trades person seeking to switch roles, this may be a perfect opportunity to you.

**The Role**

To develop, within the organisation a coherent administration process integrated over all aspects of organisational administration requirements including hard copy file retention _( such as accident reports, utility bills, training certificates, fleet records_), softcopy document management _( such as contract documents within the Quality management system, including externally generated)_ and organisation and management of other administration duties _(holiday cover: such as booking flights, hotels, transport, training, fleet management)_.

**Administrative Duties**

**Assisting and supporting the Contracts team with**:

- Document control,
- Construction phase plans,
- End of life document disposal. _(This includes site management documents, SHEQ, Drawings correspondences)_
- Administrate, monitor, and communicate on site specific obligations and actions relating to Considerate contractor’s scheme reports, Principal Designer reports, BREEAM and sustainability KPI’s
- Support the control of statutory inspection documentation for head office and site, including electrical inspections, gas, fire equipment, lifting equipment in line with IMS requirements, facility attending contractors RAMS submission.
- Support the documentation control within contracts file and carry out desk top audits of Viewpoint compliance in relation to QMS compliance and compile KPI tracker
- Support administration of approved supplier renewals
- Support the Human Resource process and on boarding of new employees by attaining and maintaining standardised records
- Compile and communicate on organisational KPI’s and compliance targets within Viewpoint and IMS
- Assess and organise training requirements, booking courses, communicating attendance to site team and update records.
- Managing and controlling meeting rooms and communication with IT/communication support services (computers laptops and phones)
- Revise & maintain IMS documents annually for compliance and improvement including but not limited to HSE policy, Quality policy, Registers, Non-conformance reports, objectives, and processes.

**On Site**
- Assisting and supporting site management team with Controlling the PAT process for onsite equipment inspections
- Monitor and advise on compliance with site management document uploading (_daily inspections, toolbox talks, equipment inspections, subcontractor RAMS)_
- Carry out emergency evacuation drills on site/head office and record actions
- Support in the development and continuous improvement of the organisational IMS system including internal audits
- This role will also involve travel to sites in London

**Experience**
- Experience in a similar industry
- Previous experience in an administrative officer role
- Document Control
- Previous experience working towards KPI’s
- 4 -5 GCSEs at grades A - C (or equivalent)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

**Desirable**
- Higher Apprenticeship level
- Degree level
- NEBOSH Certified
