Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. The Health & Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the work place and will adhere to the ISO45001 standard.

**Duties**:

- Manage the day to day running of the Health and Safety process by maintaining documented processes, procedures, policies, and standards as part of our Health and Safety accreditation.
- Promote a safety-first culture by interacting with employees across all the business functions.
- Support internal audits, workplace inspections and health and safety tours as required by the business and its certifications.
- Support third party accreditation audits on an annual program.
- Monitor business compliance to Health and Safety and advise the managerial team on areas of non-conformity, risk management and potential to cause harm.
- Identify changes through legislation that are applicable to the business through training, seminars, and webinar attendance.
- Provide education and mentoring to the management team on any applicable new legislation to the business and where required, support the necessary implementation of changes

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
- Strong analytical skills for conducting risk assessments and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication skills for delivering training sessions and writing reports
- First aid certification is desirable
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification
