**Job Description Summary**: The Verification and Validation Intern will work with Verification and Validation engineers within the HVDC unit of GE Vernova to ensure that the business can deliver and change to meet the demands of the grid and renewable energy market. As leaders in the energy space our goal is to accelerate the transition for a more energy efficient grid to fulfil the needs of tomorrow. **Role overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyse, simulate, test, and integrate components, modules or systems that meet business standards.
- Produce technical documentation such as requirements, designs, test reports and specifications
- Follow the departments standard design practices, engineering reviews and guidelines.
- Assist with laboratory activities for the installation and testing of the control system.
