**Teaching Assistant (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)**

The Supply Room is currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join a fantastic SEN primary school. We are looking for Teaching Assistants with a focus on **Social, Emotional, and Mental Health** to work with students from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Year 6 in Reading (RG2). If you have a genuine interest in supporting children with mental health difficulties and have experience in childcare, then this role may be perfect for you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties
- Work closely with classroom teachers to assist in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons
- Build positive relationships with students, offering guidance and encouragement
- Assist students in developing their social and emotional skills
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade C/4- in GCSE English and Maths
- Prior childcare experience is essential
- Previous experience and/or a willingness to work with children with mental health difficulties
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students

**Pay Rate**:
We offer a competitive rate of between £82 - £95 per day based on qualifications and experience.
