**About the role**

We are Verse A vibrant, full solution digital agency founded in 2007, we strive to create beautifully designed digital experiences. More importantly, we get under the surface of our clients’ businesses to really understand their goals and helping them to scale. Our aim is to make our clients look and feel great to their target audience and that comes from us understanding what their customers are looking for and want. Due to further strategic growth within our Studio team, we are now looking for a Design Lead, to bring leadership in to our design department as we further advance our agency.

**Location & Hours**

Verse is a remote-first business with satellite spaces in London, Leeds, Birmingham and The Lake District where we were founded. This role is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. Some flexibility of when you work providing it overlaps with our core working hours 10am - 4pm and where you are maximising availability for customers you’re responsible for.

**Responsibilities & duties**
- You will lead on the strategic direction of the Design Team that's sits within our Studio department.
- Ultimate responsibility for the quality and creativity of all client design delivery.
- Day to day management of two directly reporting designers, but with scope to grow your team.
- Involved in creating user centred designs for both our client projects and partnerships.
- Proactively support our sales processes and pitches providing detailed insight into how our ux/ui design can enhance our services.
- Perform site audits and analyse data to provide insights and make recommended design changes.
- Expert working knowledge of our company programmes, Figma, creative cloudDesired specialist knowledge & experience etc
- Previous experience in a senior design role ideally within a digital agency environment
- Previous experience in creating design system and creating processes that improve efficiency.
- Research focused with experience running workshops to inform curated customer experiences.
- Insight led, using data to drive creative decisions.
- Process driven, excited by design systems and able to create and implement new processes that drive efficiency.
- Excellent customer-facing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement. Excellent written, verbal, and numerical skills.
