The Sales Ledger Clerk will be responsible for the accurate and timely creation and distribution of all sales invoices to our client base. They will also be responsible for the preparation and distribution of Valuations to specific clients. Once issued they will track and communicate with the client to ensure the valuations are returned and approved within a given time period. Any queries will be forwarded and tracked to the point of resolution. They will be proactive in ensuring all completed works are invoiced in a timely manner. Reporting to the Credit Control manager, the Sales Ledger Clerk will ensure the smooth running and distribution of both Valuations and invoices whilst delivering excellent customer service. Salary will be £19,951-£24,000 pro-rata, dependant on experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Communicate with Clients to ensure Payment Applications are correct and approval received
- Forward Valuation queries to the relevant responsible person and follow to conclusion
- Generate electronic copy invoices and file update systems accordingly
- Liaise with Credit Control manager to resolve any invoice queries or area of concern
- Proactively ensure completed works are invoiced in a timely manner, liaise with responsible persons to ensure timelines are met

**Qualifications**

GCSE (or equivilant) in English and Maths

Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Teams
