Teaching Assistant SEMH School

Temporary to permanent position
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 or Level 2 Childcare qualification to join our growing team A local SEMH School are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them full time to support the needs of their school and the children.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience working with young people
- Strong classroom management abilities
- Confidence using technology and educational programs/apps
- Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young students
Key responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant include:
- Providing classroom support to teachers during lessons
- Working one-on-one or in small groups to deliver tailored instruction
- Preparing classroom materials and learning activities
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
- Managing student behaviour and upholding classroom rules
- Supervising classrooms, lunch breaks, and school activities as needed
We are looking for an engaging, caring Teaching Assistant committed to fostering a positive learning environment. Teaching Assistant should be comfortable with a varied schedule and duties supporting classroom teacher.
Two years of satisfactory references
An Enhanced DBS check.
