**The role**

The marketing and communications team at Selwood Housing are looking for a driven, highly organised and creative individual to join our busy team, as our marketing and communications coordinator.

Key responsibilities include:

- Helping to deliver engaging content each month across our internal communications channels
- Assisting with the monthly production of our customer update
- Supporting the creation of posts and content for social media
- Supporting the successful delivery of our annual staff event
- Being a point of contact within the team for advice and direction on using our brand guidelines
- Building relationships with colleagues across the business.

**What we need**

If this sounds like it could be the job for you, here’s what we’ll be looking for:

- Experience in managing different tasks at the same time, and for that you’ll be really well organised
- You’ll have an interest in copywriting, and experience of writing for defined audiences. You’ll thrive on the challenge of trying to drive particular actions or behaviours from those that read your content.
- You’ll know your way around Microsoft Office, and be up for learning new systems and tools
- You’ll understand the power and importance of social media as a channel and will be confident in helping to design and shape content across Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- You’ll have excellent attention to detail - you’ll be able to spot a typo instantly, but also able to meticulously follow complex instructions or directions.
- You’ll have a positive ‘can-do’ outlook and will bring that with you to work, building positive relationships with those around you.
