The warehouse operative has responsibility for ensuring the efficient operation of the Warehouse, ensuring stocks are maintained, managed and handled correctly and levels of required stocks are maintained.

Fostering a culture of safe working is essential in this role and the Warehouse operator is expected to demonstrate commitment to this.

They are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the team, duties will include
- Stocks to be stored in correct locations
- Stocks to be picked correctly
- Stocks to be labelled with part numbers and serial numbers
- Stock checking as and when required
- Stocks to be ordered as and when required
- Ensure the delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production schedules.
- Ensure inventories in their area of responsibility are accurate at all times.
- Ensure stock movements are always recorded accurately.
- Support and participate in stock takes at regular intervals.
- Ensure that any computerised or automated systems are accurate and up to date.
- Ensure the correct and accurate picking of stock as requested
- Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for change.
- Resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level.
- Ensure that health and safety meet the required standards and carry out risk assessments

**Requirements**:

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases and a knowledge of warehouse systems
- Previous Warehouse experience would be preferred
- Must be able to work off own initiative as well as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail skills
