Employability Trainer

**Location**:Torfaen

**Salary: **£24,000 - £26,000 (Depending on skills and experience)

**Essential Criteria**:

- Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent)
- Experience of supporting the unemployed to increase their employability.
- Experience of working with learners who have barriers to learning and complex needs.
- Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients towards securing employment.
- Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.

**Duties**:

- Prepare, deliver and coach unemployed learners through their Employability programme from enrolment/induction through to completion.
- Provide engaging and exciting training sessions to inspire and motivate learners to develop Employability and PSD skills.
- Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values.
- Deliver course inductions as required.
- Work closely with a dedicated Recruitment Consultant with group recruitment procedures (e.g. screening sessions and mock interview preparation).
- Promote Employability courses to the Employment Advisor team through the issuing of course criteria, quarterly planners and attendance at team meetings.
