A great opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic **Finance Business Partner** to join a dynamic regional company recognised for developing and training its staff to succeed in their roles. Based in **Portsmouth**, you will join us on a **full-time, permanent** **basis,** and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary of £40,000 per annum and excellent benefits.**

**About the Finance Business Partner rol**e**:

- The role will be on a full-time basis and will include release time towards completing your CIMA qualification
- The preferred route to CIMA accreditation would be through an approved provider alongside an apprenticeship to allow funding through the apprentice levy

**The key activities you will undertake in this role will be**:

- Monthly management accounts
- Data analysis and reporting
- Financial analysis
- Interrogation of data and issue resolution
- Short term forecasting
- Calculating labour recovery rates
- Variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations

**Key responsibilities as our** **Finance Business Partner will include**:

- Being the key finance contact for various contracts within the business
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Partnering the business, to support with a wide variety of finance queries, requests and activities
- Clearly interpreting and explaining financial results

**What we are looking for in our Finance Business Partner**:

- Previous employment in either construction, maintenance, manufacturing or similar industry is preferrable
- Management accounting background
- Understanding of labour recovery models
- AAT or equivalent
- CIMA Part Qual
