**SHE Advisor (Construction & CDM)**

**Job Title**:SHE Advisor (Construction & CDM)

**Location**:Glascoed, Wales

**Salary**:£51,262

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Manage the H&S file from project beginning through to completion.
- Prepare and review key CDM documents such as design risk registers, construction phase plans, pre-construction information and H&S File.
- Attend design team and client meetings and offer specialist safety advice.
- Support the business in their role as Client and Principal Designer under CDM 2015 for a range of complex projects.

**Your skills and experiences**:
**Essential**:

- NEBOSH General or Construction, or equivalent.
- Excellent understanding of the 2015 CDM Regulations and worked within the construction and industrial sector for the past 2 years in a H&S capacity (client or contractor biased).
- Sound understanding of Safety and Environmental Legislation and standards and requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 Standards.

**Desirable**:

- Member, or working towards membership in related Professional Engineering Institution.
- Principal Designer/CVM accreditation/qualifications.
- Environmental background i.e., IEMA.
- Working in a defence related industry background.

As a SHE Advisor you in the capital projects team, you will act as a H&S / CDM Advisor on a diverse portfolio of construction projects within the Glascoed manufacturing site. You will have the opportunity to progress your career in a client-based Construction and CDM environment.
