AEMS Ltd is a leading manufacturer of seating for the transport industry

Our normal working hours are 37 hours per week from 07.00 - 17.00 over 4 days per week.

**MAIN TASKS**
- Working within a factory environment
- Industrial Stitching - stitching fabric & leather together in various patterns
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
- Other reasonable duties as assigned
- Undertake relevant training when required

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Some experience working with Industrial sewing machines
- Ability to use sewing machines
- Ability to use hand tools (full training will be given)
- Measuring and cutting skills.
- Maintain high quality standards and output, including thorough checking of completed works
- Manual handling with the ability to bend and lift
- Skills in pattern making and evaluating custom cutting to minimise waste.
- Honest, energetic, reliable, great timekeeper, able to work in a team or alone, unsupervised.
- Ability to use own initiative and to work quickly to meet production deadlines.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues and take instruction from supervisors
- Ability to work on our own as well as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.00-£13.50 per hour
