Hseq Manager

My client specialises in manufacturing luxury garden buildings and are the UK's leading garden room company. They are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their fun, friendly team.
As the Health and Safety Manager you'll be responsible for the development and conservation of the Health and Safety policy for my client. You'll use your communication skills to give expert advice, guidance and support at both strategic and functional situationsas well as using your intuition to identify forthcoming challenges and risks. My client has a number of showrooms/facilities, and you would be covering all of them.
**Skills/Experience**:

- NEBOSH diploma
- Experienced in Health and Safety management, ideally from a multi-site role within a manufacturing or construction environment
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills, including an ability to convince others effectively
- Ability to identify needs and priories and have great timekeeping skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to exercise initiative and willingness to propose initiatives and accept responsibilities
- Must be confident in managing and presenting.
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- **A valid UK Drives licence and own vehicle due to location**

**Responsibilities**:

- Advise senior managers on all H&S and welfare matters to ensure the company complies with its statutory obligations in line will all current regulations.
- Improve training for all staff
- Ensuring safe and successful training of all existing teams, including conducting H&S onboarding with new employees
- Attending customer sites to audit H&S practices of installation teams and assess/review RAMS
- Effectively manage First Aid and all Emergency procedures
- Conducting and recording thorough inspections and implementing measurable improvement plans
- Monthly reporting of improvements, updates and statistics to senior management
- Increasing awareness of all HSQE matters across all departments and sites
- Take the lead in the evaluation and implementation of ISO9001 Quality Standard and complete the audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Develop Quality KPI's, by function/department, which highlights performance and identifies improvement opportunities
