**Maritime Registry Support (Inside IR35)**

**Location: Bristol/Hybrid**

**As a Maritime Registry Support, your main responsibilities would be**:

- Collaborating closely with the DMR Inspectorate and the Regulated Community to ensure the Shipping and Maritime Activities Registers are kept up to date.
- Maintaining the shipping and activity entries through confirming the accuracy of the data.
- Developing and publishing the processes to be used by the regulated community and the DMR staff for the Shipping Register.
- Managing and updating the DMR Approval to Authorise MOD Shipping (AtAMS) process.
- Managing the contracted tasking for the Maritime Register, including identification of improvements to it.
- Providing secretariat support to the monthly DMR Registration Committee.
- Providing other support to the Deputy Shipping Registrar in the pursuance of their registrar role, including support to working groups and committees.
- Liaising across DMR to develop the DMR Domain Scope document, and ensuring it is used across the DMR domain risk processes.
- Identifying how the Maritime Register, including the Shipping Register, can be better used as a tool for managing compliance for DMR.

- Hold a valid Security Clearance that covers the employment period.
- Ideally, have experience in/understanding of the Maritime domain.
- Ideally, have knowledge of the process for Registration of shipping.
