**What you’ll do**:
An enthusiastic individual to develop their career within a busy expanding company. You will be a strong team player who can work efficiently and show attention to detail, to ensure that new and existing products have comprehensive documentation, good understanding of engineering practices and fundamental electronics would be advantageous.

To provide backup to the Production/ Quality/Customer Service/Supply Chain departments to resolve problems quickly and accurately, and support on business-critical projects such as Cost Saving, Variant Configurator programming of Product lines so experience of ABAP programming language would be an advantage.

Operating in a fast-moving environment liaising with a wide range of internal and external functions daily; the ability to time manage work activities whilst producing a high quality of work is essential
Experience of working within internal and external teams and effective in engaging directly with customers, suppliers and internal departments

**Responsibilities**:

- The creation of manufacturing detail drawings and wiring diagrams for both client orders and development of current products.
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD R18
- Update documentation by means of the ECN system (raising ECN’s as required).
- Create and update parts on the SAP MRP system and help with the Enovia data transfer.
- Continually liaise with the various departments within the company as required such as Customer service, quality and supply chain.
- Ensure that all work is completed with due adherence to the engineering procedures such as Certification requirements, test specifications.
- Creation and updating of 3D models and parts Solidworks/(ProE an advantage).
- Continuous liaison with the Engineering and Production Managers to keep them properly informed of work in progress and possible problems
- Prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Complete all work within a timely fashion where possible.
- Work on own initiative, be self-starting and proactive.
- Support of various project both within the Engineering department and site wide such as CI projects.
- To be involved and actively support any supplementary activities required as part of the Eaton internship for example charity or wellness events.
