We have an exciting opportunity in the Faculty Engagement Team in the University Library to be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with departments in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
You will ensure that priorities for research, learning and teaching are understood and communicated to other teams within the Library and will play an integral role in ensuring that the Library is able to meet the needs of the Faculty and the wider University at a time of fundamental change for research and scholarly communication.
Using your ability to design and deliver effective information literacy and training programmes you will support the development of research skills at all levels, including delivering workshops, lectures, webinars and other activities for researchers and taught students.
You will have a knowledge of the HE environment, nationally and internationally with an understanding of its impact on libraries and the wider information, publishing and scholarly communication landscape. You will be confident and proactive in building relationships and developing partnerships, and you will have excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
