The Finance Business Partner will form part of the Funding business partnering team providing support to Aldermore Bank’s funding channels (comprised of Retail Deposits, Corporate Deposits and Wholesale funding) as well as the Treasury function.

The role of Finance Business Partner is really important to us. You will support the successful optimisation of the Funding Strategy by providing high quality financial information, commercial business support and strategic and commercial insight with theappropriate level of challenge. In addition, the role is responsible for ensuring that all central finance processes such as month end reporting, planning and forecasting and external reporting are fully supported in a timely and controlled manner. A continuousimprovement mindset is required across everything we do whether it be process, control environment, data quality, financial analysis, and insight across all Funding channels of the Bank.

This role will be based in our London office however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week. You’ll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.

**What would your day look like?**
- Act as a trusted business partner to all key stakeholders across Finance and the business through the provision of high-quality financial information to support successful delivery and optimisation of the Bank’s Funding strategy.
- Able to build and leverage key relationships to drive successful outcomes on work in a timely manner.
- Able to identify trends in data and highlight these insights to stakeholders through strong communication skills (including use of charts etc) with an ability to influence management into a course of action. Also need to be able to communicate effectivelyacross both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

**What do we expect of you?**
- Professional finance qualification with at least 2 years PQE in the Financial Services
- Business partnering experience essential, preferably in some form of Product/Treasury capacity
- Confident, self-starter with strong communication skills and proven ability to take insight from identification through to presenting charts/outputs to management
- Commercially and analytically focused in order to drive improvements
- Experience in evaluating business performance in both a strategic and commercial context
