Kitchen Supervisor

**About us**

Courtens Garden Centre is a small business in Whiteparish, SP5 2SD. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to serve quality food in a friendly environment to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

The job is to oversee and co-ordinate the daily operaons of the kitchen as well as to undertake the main cooking. The role includes preparing simple, but delicious meals, cakes and scones for a tearoom / café in a small independent garden centre.

You would need to arrive earlier at the start of the week to prepare, cooking fresh cheese scones, cakes or tray-bakes and elements of lunches. There is help from Kitchen Assistants who support front of house activitiies, serving customers, assembling meals, and washing up.

Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is desirable, but not essential. Food and Hygiene Level 2 Certification is needed, but do not worry if you do not have it. We will help you and pay for you to undertake the couple of hour’s course online.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.75-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 36 per week
