Groomer & Animal Care Assistant - Weekend Work

**Job description**
The role includes the keep, care and monitoring of young small dogs (Pomeranians) and cats (British Longhairs), kittens and puppies and cleaning of facilities within a professional environment. We have a 5* license with the local council, and the animals have nice facilities on site, which must be kept clean.
Applicants must have experience caring for small animals, be attentive, vigilant and be animal lovers. We require someone who is trustworthy and very reliable. Breeding experience is not required, but animal care is, with cleaning experience being a bonus. The business is run by a veterinary professional and an experienced breeder, so it could suit someone with an interest in learning about veterinary or small animal reproduction, though this is not a requirement.
Day to day tasks mainly consist of cleaning the facilities & laundry but also animal care tasks such as monitoring, feeding, grooming and ensuring the animals and happy, comfortable and well. Extra responsibilities could become avalible if the applicant was interested and all was going well.
Applicant MUST have driving license (not provisional) and own transport, and live less than 30 mins from east horlsey village.
Due to the nature of the specialist training required to care for young animals we are only looking for team members that will be looking to stay with us long term (1 year+), so not for applicants in temporary situations such as students.
