The care home is located in an area of Swadlincote providing care for up to 10 residents that suffer with learning difficulties. You will help patients remain as independent as possible and cater to service users’ likes and dislikes

Duties include:

- Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home
- Shower/strip washing and bed bathing the patients
- Reporting condition updates and recording fluid intake
- Helping with the general home care and domestic duties
- Assisting with moving and handling tasks including the use of hoists and mobility aids
- Being a companion to service users
