Weekend Cook

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in the kitchen for up to 31 service users. Your expertise in food safety, meal preparation, and culinary techniques will contribute to the success of our establishment.
**Duties**:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
- Assist with meal planning and menu development
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Culinary training or certification is preferred
- Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
