**Job Title** - HGV Tyre Fitter

**Location** - Mellor Brook, Lancashire

Monks Contractors are waste specialists - we provide haulage and waste specification plant hire to the waste industry. We also have a high pressure water drain jetting team, civil contracting team, plant repair, hire and sales

**Responsible to: Workshop Manager**

**Job Specification**

**You will be responsible for the following**:

- Maintaining tyres on our fleet of HGV's and trailers including fitment, position changes and puncture repairs.
- Covering breakdowns including out of hours
- Undertaking fleet checks weekly
- Assisting with stock control, stock taking & stock rotation
- Ensuring all work is documented using our tyre management software

**Requirements**:

- You will have experience in HGV tyre fitting
- Understanding of Health and Safety obligations
- Be able to work as part of a team with the ability to use own initiative
- Take ownership of your job role and responsibilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible approach to work
- You will need a valid driving licence

**Pay and Benefits Package**
- Overtime pay available
- Company vehicle supplied (air-compressor included)

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £14.50 per hour
