**Fixed term for 12 months**

**Full time, 35 hours per week
**The Opportunity**

The successful post-holder will provide teaching support in the history, theory, and heritage of architecture and urbanism across the BA/MA(Hons) Architecture, MA(Hons) Architectural History & Heritage, and MSc Architectural, Landscape, and Environment programmes within ESALA and ECA. They will contribute to lecture courses, offer an upper-level course in an area of specialism, and serve as course organiser for a course in the methodology of architectural history. The post-holder will also be expected to support the development and delivery of these courses and programmes through an appropriate contribution to administration.

**Skills and Attributes for Success**
- A master’s degree in architectural history, art history, or related discipline
- Ability to undertake independent research
- Possess excellent communication skills evidenced through publications and/or scholarship
- Experience of university-level teaching in a related field
- A contextualised knowledge of architectural education.
- Ability to set out, communicate and critically review complex issues pertaining to architectural history
- Ability to use digital platforms for teaching
- Experience of working around themes and discourses that will further the diversity of our community
- Demonstrable commitment to diversity, equality of opportunity and inclusion.
