**Fabric Cutter & Packer Working hours**:
Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm (30minute lunch and 2 x 15 minute breaks)

Friday 8am - 1pm

We are looking for a Fabric Cutter & Packer to join our client on a temporary to permanent basis, your duties will include:

- Preparing fabric for cutting out, spreading it out into flat layers, smoothing out creases and checking the fabric for any faults
- Deciding on the correct cutting method for the types of material
- Ensuring work areas & equipment are clean
- Planning out how much fabric to cut to ensure mínimal waste
- lining up the pattern on the fabric and marking it out
- cutting around the pattern using a special electric knife
- Delicate materials are to be cut by hand
- cutting as many as 30 layers of fabric at once if using a cutting machine
- storing the fabric correctly
- checking stock levels
- Packing orders into boxes or bags ready for despatch
- A good knowledge of measurements/measuring
- someone methodical and precise
- the ability to work at a fast pace
- someone who is willing to undertake any training necessary to carry out the job to the best of their ability

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.15 per hour
