**Job Title - **Arboricultural Inspector
**Temporary -** 3-6 month contract
**Location -** Buckinghamshire County-wide
**Work Schedule -** Mix of office working, remote working and site visits
**Hours -** Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:30pm
**Pay Rate - **£55.99 per hour

**About the role**
As an Arboricultural Inspector, you will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

- To help the Authority to deliver it's legal, statutory and regulatory obligations relating to arboriculture.- Carry out tree inspections on Council-owned land, or land where the Council has a contractual obligation, to inform a prioritised programme of works in accordance with industry standards and Council procedures.- Assisting the Council's Arboricultural officers with complex and sensitive legal issues within the team's area of responsibility. This may include assessment of technical data and evidence, assisting in the preparation of legal statements and supporting more senior Arboricultural Officers at legal proceedings, Public Inquiries and Judicial Reviews as required- Promote best practice in respect to tree management to stakeholders and the public.- Provide specialist advice to colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.-
This is a temporary position for 3-6 months, though there is potential for this to be extended further. The pay rate is £55.99 per hour, and you will be working full time, 37 hours per week. Buckinghamshire Council are working on a hybrid basis where you will work remotely for 3-4 days per week and in the office 1-2 days per week, along with completing site visits across the County

**About you**
- Experience of making Tree Preservations Orders-
- Experience of providing advice to Senior Management, customers and other stakeholders in respect to trees- Local Authority experience is desired**About us and our Client**
