**Your new role**:The Clinical Audito**r **will be involved in assessing and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of clinical processes and documentation. They will be required to coordinate and conduct clinician quality assurance and clinical audits. The postholder will work closely with the Clinical Management team and Clinical Data Analyst to interpret audit outcomes and formulate recommendations for quality improvement. Additionally, the role involves the preparation of quarterly written reports to communicate audit findings. These reports contribute to the organisation's clinical governance assurance processes, enhancing transparency and accountability in clinical practices.

**This post is part-time, 3 days (22.5 hours). Salary - £33,000 Pro Rata (£55k FTE)**

**Requirements**:

- Coordinate and manage clinical audits
- Plan data collection, inputting, analysis and report writing so that reports are delivered according to the proposed timescales
- Review, interpret and extract information from a variety of sources as required to collect data
- Undertaking clinical audit of clinicians working at Doctor Care Anywhere as part of our clinical quality assurance process
- Undertaking clinical audits of processes, policies and protocols at Doctor Care Anywhere
- Undertaking medicines management audits at Doctor Care Anywhere
- Undertaking audits dedicated to medical device at Doctor Care Anywher
- Set up spreadsheets and accurately input data for each project
- Be able to use quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Maintain accurate, up to date records of ongoing clinical audit projects
- Contribute to the development of annual clinical audit plans across the clinical team at Doctor Care Anywhere
- Prepare reports and present findings to clinical management team and senior clinical leadership

**Training/Experience**
- Registered health professional (nurse, paramedic, pharmacist, doctor)
- Current registration with relevant professional body (NMC / HCPC / GpHC/ GMC)
- Experience in the NHS or independent health sector
- Experience undertaking audit projects using methods relevant to research or audit
- Primary care experience/ exposure (Desirable)
- Experience / exposure to remote health provision / telemedicine (Desirable)

**Education**
- Undergraduate degree in health sciences
- Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development
- Understanding of the principles of audit and / or quality improvement
- Undertaken study at masters level (Desirable)

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Understanding of best practice based on clinical guidance in the UK
- Sound understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks that underpin clinical service delivery and medical devices in the UK (Desirable)
- Passionate about high quality care
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the ability to identify and address gaps in quality and compliance.
- Demonstrates clinical audit skills.
- Ability to work to a deadline and prioritise workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex information clearly.
- Computer literate (Microsoft office) and can work with or rapidly adopt skills in Clinical IT systems
- Research awareness skills (Desirable)
- Proven ability to identify, develop and implement risk management and clinical governance systems at an expert level (Desirable)
