We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of **‘Your Life, Your Choice’** and our strategy **‘Best Lives Possible’.**
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support. - There is a great community spirit and often there are events, such as lunches, a games of rounders, football tournaments, and BBQ’s amongst many others. They also enjoy a range of activities in the community.
- They like to enjoy being out and about, no matter what the weather, so are looking for team members who encourage them to be as independent as possible, and to make their own choices
- They would love you to be a good listener, as sometimes having someone to talk to is all they need. They hope you can remains calm in difficult situations, and can problem solve, whilst being reassuring too. It is important that the people we support have their wishes taken into consideration.
- Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a male colleague is required. This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
- They are also looking for someone who is a driver and able to always communicate in a positive and honest way
