Bluestones is working with our leading client Bondelivery and due to continued growth they have a requirement for an immediate start Team leader position within their pick pack department.
Location: Nutts corner
Salary Depending on experience £12.66 - £13.94
Hours: 4on 4 off 17:30PM TO 06:00am
**PURPOSE**
To assist/deputise for the shift Team Leader and Supervisor during peak and holiday/absence cover. To provide overall support to the management team ensuring that the warehouse and delivery drivers consistently operates efficiently, safely and providing a high quality service to our client. To co-ordinate all shift activities with a positive leadership approach. Implement company policies and procedures, enforce health and safety regulations and ensure all workers follow proper procedures. May involve working on day or night shift if required. **DUTIES**
**WAREHOUSING AND DISTRIBUTION**:
- Assistance with the overall site management for the Nutts Corner depot.
- Co-ordination of warehouse activities to ensure process of inbound, dispatch and reverse logistics are to the agreed standard outlined in contract KPI’s.
- To ensure all processes are completed as per client requirements.
- Complete all client reports as required.
- Anticipate and plan the required staffing-hours for processing volumes on a seven shift day operation, monitor and achieve productivity levels.
- Generate appropriate management information and circulate weekly.
- Liaise with client, McBurneys and Nightline to schedule daily collection and return loads.
- Liaise with onsite clients and staff daily as required, in particular Hermes to ensure that all NI courier parcels are transferred to Hermes department by agreed daily time.
- Oversee and ensure that all trailers/vehicles are unloaded/loaded daily.
- Liaise with McBurneys and other hauliers when appropriate regarding intake of trailers.
- Ensure that all faults/damages that are apparent are dealt with immediately.
- Liaise with manager/shift supervisors and staff regarding stock shortages and discrepancies.
- Ensure Contract Manager and client is notified immediately of any issue regarding intake, pick, pack, IT or deliveries.
- Co-ordinate client requirements for intake, picking, packing and delivery to ensure dispatch targets are fully met to all parties involved in the process.
- Check all paperwork and ensure it is completed as per client requirements.
- Ensure that all administration is complete according to client/Bondelivery specification.
- Ensure all orders are picked/packed within the designated timed window, organising reallocation of staff and work schedules as appropriate.
- Liaise with Manager/shift supervisors ensuring appropriate levels of staffing to complete pick/pack/putaway seven days per week.
- Full cyclical stock take to be managed monthly.
- Daily stock checks and discrepancies to be managed on-going.
- Daily shift spot checks on accuracy of intake, pick and pack.
- Motivate and manage team consistently achieving productivity, compliance and time and attendance standards.
- Oversee the warehouse operation
- Key holder duties, ensuring Company security requirements are adhered to.
- Carry out bag, locker and car searches with team daily - monitor team movements in and out of building.
- Liaise with Operations Manager regarding regular maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Report any damage or defects to the relevant department. Ensure accident forms completed as appropriate.
- Correct use of handsets as per customer specification and processes correctly followed for picking, packing, locating, location management, UI, RTO pick, and NDTS functions.
- NDTS store sortation and scan to sack, in accordance to client specification
- NDTS orders/driver runs assembled in loading area, scanned per van route and all sacks and hanging sets loaded.
- Organise and assist with general house keeping
- Sign out control of handsets, reporting any faults or issues
- Providing cover for shift supervisor
**CUSTOMER SERVICE**:
- Liaise with client/haulier/3rd party daily ref: delivery and collection requirements/stock requirements.
- Ensure the client is notified immediately of any issues regarding stock, quality, collections, intakes etc.
- Deal with relevant client queries obtaining the requested information in a timely manner.
- Participate in any external client audits, visits and meetings.
- Action any relevant points raised by client within agreed deadlines and cost constraints.
- Regularly review client concerns and deal with any complaints received from client and introduce preventative measures as necessary.
- Manage client/warehouse relationship and work to create an effective means of communication between both.
- Ensure client is notified immediately of any issues regarding late deliveries, stock, quality, collections, intakes etc.
