To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a **Business Systems Auditor** to come and join our team at **Chesterton, ST5 7ES**

**Job Purpose**:The role is responsible for ensuring the groups systems remain compliant with all relevant accredited standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001. The role will also involve coordinating with other departments to fully integrate the business management system to include ISO 27001 and also ISO 45001. The main duties would be to conduct Internal Audits against group standards across all Ibstock sites and offices. Role will also include setting schedule for auditing with External Auditors to manage certifications. Ability to write standards, policies and procedures in line with the requirement of relevant ISO standards.

**Key Accountabilities**

Ensure a health and safety first approach on all day to day activities.

Audit and evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements. Identify weaknesses and suggest improvements to mitigate risks. Audits to be conducted in line with Ibstock Manufacturing System.

Conduct internal audits for compliance in line with ISO 14001, ISO45001 and ISO 50001.

Assist in development of audit plans, audit schedules. Maintain group and division Audit KPI’s and report in line with Ibstock reporting.

Principle point of contact for External Auditors.

Identify processes, situations, etc. where organisation is meeting requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement

Assist SHEQ and Operations team in developing audit reports; present audit reports in line with Ibstock reporting

Assist with follow-up audit actions, as required and co-ordinate responses with the auditing body.

Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process

Coach sites on effective root cause analysis for corrective and preventative actions.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience***

A thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Preferable knowledge of ISO 50001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001.

Experience of managing an audit plan across multiple sites and systems. Ability to write procedures to a high standard in line with relevant standards.

Ability to write professional audit reports and findings.

A good knowledge of manufacturing processes

Self-starting, highly motivated, enthusiastic and proactive

Ability to meet business needs and deadlines. Team player with honest and flexible style. Excellent communication skills

IT literate including all basic MS Office programs

Be able to motivate and encourage others; be decisive and able to work well under pressure; resolve conflicts and good at problem solving

Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be able to co-ordinate work carried out by different people and organisations

Innovative thinking and solutions focused

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Full driving license
