As an HLTA, you will have a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils, helping to raisestandards and contributing to the success of the school.

**Job Description**:

- Supporting the teacher in planning, delivering and evaluating high-quality teaching and learning
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities to groups or whole classes, ensuring pupils remain engaged and motivated
- Supporting the teacher in monitoring pupils' progress and providing feedback to pupils, parents and carers
- Leading interventions and support for pupils with additional needs
- Providing pastoral support to pupils, including behaviour management, emotional support and safeguarding

Person Specification:

- Qualified to Level 4 or above in a relevant qualification (e.g. HLTA status, Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification)
- Experience of working in a primary school setting, ideally as an HLTA
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
- A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils, with knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
