**Duties**:

- Responsible for inspecting and assessing the quality and strength of welding work.
- Ensure welds are safe and ready to function as part of the device or structure.
- Welds to meet customer specifications on drawings.
- Ensure welders adhere to company weld specifications (WPQR) and safety regulations.
- Any mistakes/missing welds need to be identified and then given to a welder to rectify then reinspected.
- Completing of inspection records and making sure processes and paperwork procedures are followed.
- Responsible for fettling and prepping steelwork post weld to ensure it is ready for painting/galvanizing.
- Responsible for loading goods out/checking off loading lists to ensure any missing pieces are identified and individual items are recorded by item no to ensure paperwork trail is correct and all items are loaded.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques.
- Strong knowledge of metallurgy principles and welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and standards
- Analytical skills to identify defects or deviations from standards
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
